The first grade class will be teaching high school students next week. Youth Connections Leadership Academy High School has invited our students to host a teach-in about the genocide that is currently happening in Darfur. Check out the commercial that the first graders made about the effects of war and the importance of Peace.
“That’s why we’re tryin’ to help the world! The world needs us!” (stated by a 6 year old student).
The students were asked, “What is War?” and “What is Peace?” This is what they said.
