Retaining Chicago Public School students is a failing system. I realized this nearly ten years ago when we were tutoring children who had repeated third grade two times. This article 
about the Chicago School System failing our children just goes to show we definitely need a different school structure and system. This urgent call for change and restructuring of education is a major reason I began Village Leadership Academy in the first place.
